Description
This pattern is ideal for creating a knitted sweater for a toddler. The color image was scanned from a catalog dating back to the 1960s. Note that this pattern is specifically designed for toddler sizes only. Originally knit with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, a worsted weight with approx 140 yards per 2-ounce skein at the time. With the variety of worsted-weight yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Requires knitting needles size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm), and 7 (4.5 mm).
