Originally knit with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, a worsted weight with approx 140 yards per 2-ounce skein at the time. With a variety of worsted-weight yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Requires Mary Maxim Starlette Size 32 MC (12 oz). Size 34-38 (16 oz). Size 40-42 (18 oz), knitting needles size U.S. 6 (4.25 mm), 8 (5 mm), 16" (80 mm) circular needle 8 (5 mm), and  set of double point needles size 6 (4.25 mm). Fits size 32-34-36-38-40-42—Intermediate knit.
