Originally knit with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, a worsted weight with approx 140 yards per 2-ounce skein at the time. Then knit in squares and sewn or crocheted together. With a variety of worsted-weight yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern.
